SAKOS SA is proud to unveil the latest development in its sustainability programme: the successful installation of a 700kW photovoltaic system, composed of a solar panel array spread over the entire surface area of its production plant’s roof. SAKOS’s current solar energy infrastructure is projected to account for 13% of the plant’s annual energy demands, with plans underway to increase that figure to 25% until the end of the year, through further ground-level expansions. The move demonstrates SAKOS’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and reliance on non-renewable resources, increasing its operational efficiency to ensure a sustainable future for its products and services.
