ABOUT FOUR-SIDED WRAPPING FILM
Four-Sided Wrapping Film is an elastic PE film with excellent heat-sealing properties, designed for dual-reel packaging lines. On the line, two film rolls are joined at their ends and unwound over incoming products. After being stretched over the product’s circumference, the trailing ends are sealeded together to complete the package and prepare for the next cycle. The slight stretch of the film provides the holding force needed to secure the items within a four-sided package, without the application of heat. Available in thicknesses starting at just 20 microns, it combines efficiency with durability while minimizing hazards, material and energy use.
APPLICATIONS & PURPOSES
This film is ideal for long or bulky products — such as rigid insulation boards, panels, or other materials — that require stable wrapping but not the extreme protection of fold-and-shrink systems. Its straightforward dual-roll setup offers a simpler, faster, and more cost-efficient solution, and the gentle holding force makes it suitable for heat- or pressure-sensitive products that could be damaged by more aggressive packaging methods.
